TRIANGLES is a vibrant exploration of geometric abstraction, built entirely from the repetition and intersection of a single elemental form: the triangle. Arranged in a kaleidoscopic structure, the design radiates outward in mirrored quadrants, creating a rhythmic symmetry that feels both contemporary and deeply rooted in traditional pattern‑making. The bright, saturated colours intensify against the black ground, giving the composition a luminous, almost crystalline presence.
The work carries a visual resonance with the geometric motifs found in many North and South American cultural designs, where repeated forms generate meaning, movement and identity. Here, the pattern becomes a celebration of structure and colour—an investigation into how complexity can emerge from the disciplined use of a single shape.
The joy of creating this piece lies in its process: following a strict colour sequence across each quadrant, allowing the repetition to build a meditative flow as the pattern unfolds across the canvas.
