FLOAT is an abstract painting inspired by autumn leaves floating down a thawing stream in spring. Groups of leaves in warm reds and yellows float across a stream of blues, greens, and aquas.
The painting produces a calm, serene visual, very much like the state created when painting it. The making of this artwork was peaceful experience and one that shows in the work.
